Description

These are miniature storage totes with a privacy clear body. Translucent rather than transparent, so you can see that something is in there and roughly what, without the contents being on show. Pick the bin, not the lid.

The lid actually snaps shut

Not a lid that rests on top. It snaps on and stays on, so a bin can be picked up, tipped or carried without the contents going everywhere. The underside is recessed with locating notches, so the lid also seats the bin above it and a stack behaves like a stack instead of a slide.

The bin is a rectangle, so it stacks one way round. Up to 5 lb total per unit, and up to 5 lb total per stack.

Two colours, two lid patterns

The colour and the pattern are paired. Hot pink comes with the heart lid, yellow comes with the diamond lid, and the bin itself is the same privacy clear in both. Choose a colour above and the pack ships with two bins and two lids of that pattern.

For the desk, the classroom and the dorm

Sort push pins, paper clips, dice, erasers and small counters into bins you can tell apart without opening one, then stack them on a shelf or drop them into a drawer. Assembled, each one is 4.7 x 2.96 x 2.45 inches. The inside tapers, so it measures 3.8 x 2.0 inches across the floor and opens out to 4.3 x 2.5 inches at the top, with 2.1 inches of usable depth under the lid — about 0.34 quart. Those numbers are rounded down from the measured part, so the item you unbox will always match or beat the listing. A standard gift, credit or business card lies flat on the floor with room to spare.
